after the holy month of Ramadan on the 1st of the Islamic month of Shawwal. Eid al Fitr is a

for Eid. The kids are also very excited about Eid. Because on Eid day the kids not only wear
new clothes and shoes but receive lots of Eidi from their family members and relatives.

Muslims all over the world clean and decorate their homes on eid day. In Pakistan special
eid preparations start on chaand raat. There is great hustle and bustle in bazaars on chaand
raat. The ladies go to Bazar on chaand raat to buy special bangles and mehndi for eid. the
young ladies, girls, and baby girls made special mehndi designs on their hands. The mothers
and grandmothers prepare special sweet dishes like "sheer khurma", "kheer", or "trifle" for
eid day.

Eid al Fitr is celebrated as three days evet in Pakistan. On Eid day the Muslims say eid prayer
and after eid prayer, the Muslims wish Eid Mubarak to each other. The Muslims send
special happy eid Mubarak wishes to their relatives and friend that are out of
the country. My family has a trend of wakening up very early on eid day. We all get up and
after breakfast get ready by wearing new clothes and shoes. After Eid prayer, we go to the
homes of all family members one by one and wish eid Mubarak to each other. every one served
the special dishes they have made for eid. This trend is very good. The Eid al Fitr brings us all
close to each other. It feels very good when you spend time with your relatives.
Because nowadays the life has become very busy, but on eid day as it is a public holiday
everyone is free and spend a happy time with his family.

Eid is a period of euphoria and festivity. All hearts cheer in celebration on this extraordinary day and all spirits feel happy. Muslims appeal to God for harmony and favors after the whole year and henceforth having learned persistence and safeguard.
